And the community love continues to flow! Again, thank you for the continued support. Our team is excited to get back to work! Below is a picture of our team as we went around last evening to support the businesses that have lended us a helping hand. Thank you from all of us at Encore!

First of all, the Encore team and I are unbelievably moved by the amount of support from family, community, friends, and our patrons. The last few days have been difficult but you all have made this terrible event so much easier to overcome. From Bug Eyed Betty's "go fund me page for staff" to Wagner's Lanes and The Complexx auctioning off tickets, the amount of support has been unreal. All the texts, calls, acts of kindness and reach from the community has not only made this easier but reminded me why I do what I do. Today, when on my way to meetings, thinking about all the kindness that has been pushed my way I couldn't help but smile and strike up conversations with people I have never met before. After wishing them all a good day I found myself asking about their life and ambitions. After making it a point to talk with several random people (and late for my meeting), I realized how incredibly lucky I am to live in this community and have the friends, family and staff that I have. The Encore team and I are forever thankful for the amount of support and assistance from our firefighters and police officers. They did an unbelievable job the night of the fire and have been helpful ever since. We're blessed in that everyone that helped and was in the building is safe. Finally, I am unbelievably blessed to have such a wonderful staff. They're truly amazing people. As of now we're all looking to the future and trying to make that happen as quickly as possible. If any of you are looking for a way to help, I ask that you direct those efforts to the employees that made Encore what is was and will again be. After all, it wasn't developed under a name or the owner, the staff defined it. Sincerely, David Zempel
